The MicroStar offers precision measuring - with scanning to the 20 millionth - and allows users to measure point to point or in scanning mode, providing the client a complete picture of the part. The MicroStar has the ability to:   Offer part measuring through contact and non-contact methods. Calculate and analyze standard geometric elements. Give numerical evaluation of linking, form, and position. Graphically evaluate elements, including statistical analysis in 2-D and 3-D. Provide gear analysis. Measure turbine blades, cam shafts, and threaded components.

When a client sends parts to Creative Technologies, the Creative Technologies team measures and checks the parts, and sends them back to you with recommendations, analysis, or in-depth pictures. As an active, functional part of your tooling team, Creative Technologies offers excellent customer service through continued communication and 24-48 hour part measurement turnaround on up to 50 parts. The MicroStar is a CNC CMM. This allows multiple parts to be fixtured and run automatically. Capability exists to write a program during first part checking. Non-contact measuring can be provided with a video probe and laser with views from 30 power to 600 power.
 In their quest to give customers the highest-quality service available, Creative Technologies' 8,300 square foot facility includes a temperature-controlled metrology lab that houses the Wenzel LH65 MicroStar. Keeping the Metrology Lab at 68 degrees also allows the MicroStar to operate at optimal measuring performance.
